i want a pony

its been ages since i last did any sort of art. i saw this photograph of a connemara mare in a horse book i have and she was so adorable, i had a sudden urge to draw her. i also now want a pony, preferably a connemara (a pony native to ireland that looks like it has spanish or arabian blood in it). i would have to say that i'm very proud of my new picture. i usually draw with a pencil but this is the first time i've drawn anything that looked realisic, i've normally shied away from such things and done designs instead. i would definitely say that the fact the horse was (almost) black and white and i could clearly see the shadow helped imme

Workplacement

I've had to complete my mandatory workplacement for entertainment this week. It's at a radio station up in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast and i had to work in a group with some other students from my TAFE to produce a one hour recorded program. Unfortunately it's a bit boring as there are times when i don't really have much to do and i think that it's a waste of time. Though once i think about it abit, i've done a hell of a lot more here than i ever did on the movie set i worked at once (i made bacon and egg sandwiches and was a tree once). Yay! Christmas holidays! I'm so happy! I am also happy because I now have three new artworks up here. Two are Tree of Gondor inspired designs and the other is a scifi dress that I would seriously wear to my formal if I could make it, or get it made. (My mum even thinks that it would be a great formal dress). I'm designing more so there will probably be a few more up here once i've gotten around to drawing and the scaning them. I really like designs. Everything must be perfect and generally symmetrical. I like realist artwork, but I personally only like to draw designs. Now that the holidays are on I probably won't be drawing much at all be
